During Advent Season “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens was read by all students of 7R1 in their English lessons.
The plot:
A Christmas Carol opens on a bleak, cold Christmas Eve in London, seven years after the death of Ebenezer Scrooge`s business partner, Jacob Marley.
Scrooge an ageing miser, who dislikes Christmas, is visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come.
After their visits, Scrooge is transformed into a kinder, gentler man.
As a treat we attended the performance in our New Theatre on 17 December 2022.
